Pdf-Manufaktur makes interactive PDF calendars for note-taking apps on the iPad and for reMarkable e-paper tablets. You adapt every calendar with your own settings, and it is typeset when you order it.

How the calendars are made
Every PDF is built to order from your settings. A program typesets it with the Typst typesetting system, page by page on a fixed grid.
All pages are linked. One tap takes you from the year to the month, from the month to the day and back, and the rail at the edge leads to the year and to every month. This works in note-taking apps that open links in PDFs, for example GoodNotes on the iPad, and on the reMarkable.
The data comes from open sources. Public holidays and German school breaks come from the Python library holidays, Austrian school breaks from the OpenHolidays API; we compute the bridge days from them ourselves. Sun times and moon phases follow the methods of the NOAA Solar Calculator and Jean Meeus. Planets, eclipses and stars for the Cosmos calendar are computed with Skyfield from the JPL ephemeris DE421 and the Yale Bright Star Catalogue, and the meteor showers follow the International Meteor Organization.

You don't need a customer account. We don't use cookies for analytics or advertising and store nothing in your browser except your language choice. Payment is handled by Stripe, and the order confirmation with the download link arrives by email.
